Emil Gilel’s classic 1971 performance of this beautiful arrangement has caused much speculation among pianists. How did Gilels play those awkward Left Hand stretches so effortlessly when he did not have large hands? Accepting the challenge, Doug became the first person in the world to crack the puzzle.
